UCL

UCL is a leading university with a network of campus stores supporting student life, events and societies across London. Kubix delivered a Shopify POS implementation to replace UCL’s Fidelity system, improving reliability across locations and standardising retail operations. We configured Shopify POS to work with their preferred Samsung tablets and existing DOJO payment workflow, including manual payment entry that mirrors their current process. To strengthen reporting and visibility, we supported UCL with a data framework that helps align Shopify’s customer records with student identities using custom metafields. This created a clearer picture of student engagement across campuses, from retail activity to membership and events. On-site setup, staff training and a thirty-day post-launch support window enabled a smooth rollout ahead of their September deadline.
