French Connection.

We’ve been lucky to work with some top clothing brands here at Kubix. Put them on the map and you’ll be taken on a whistle-stop tour of the UK. However our most recent fashion feat took us sailing across the shores to Nîmes, France (pronounced nimms). This southern city etched its name in the history books of fashion over 300 years ago thanks to its innovative fabric creation: denim. It was this significant heritage that inspired the name of streetwear brand Nîmes back in 2016. After feeling frustrated by the lack of properly fitting men’s denim on the market, the Nîmes co-founders took matters into their own hands. They developed their own style of jeans, with the first collection of super skinny spray ons making their debut in September of 2016. Now with over four years of industry experience behind them, the brand is going from strength to strength with men and women’s collections adding a little je ne sais quois to the British streetwear scene.

Although Nîmes found initial success through their original Wordpress site, David and the team soon realised that this platform was holding them back from the growth they wanted. The search for a new platform led them to Shopify and, after liking what they saw of the Hoodrich website, it wasn’t long until they were getting in touch with our team to see if we could get them up and running on this new platform.

New Season, New Stock.

If we could conjure up a project of dreams, this one would certainly be in the running. The move from Woocommerce to Shopify was smoother than a crème brûlée, with all their assets moved over without a hitch. But along with the migration to Shopify, a fresh design was required for the store that would mirror the quality and attention to detail that Nîmes clothing was becoming famous for.

This website was also set to coincide with their latest seasonal designs launched in time for spring With new stock in the pipeline, the Nîmes team was working on their upcoming range behind the scenes with the aim of releasing it along with the Shopify site. A new look for a new season was firmly on the cards.

Our Kubix team also recommended partner apps that would streamline Nîmes’ process further. We set up Shipstation on the back end to make order fulfillment easier, and with everything linking up, there was no more copy and pasting addresses into the DPD app. Shipstation allowed David and the team to click, print and go! It was little additions like this, along with so many more benefits native to Shopify, that were going to set David and his team up for future success.

Results? A stunning Shopify migration that gives the Nimes team full control over their brand.
