Shopify Platinum Agency, Kubix has been awarded Highly Commended in the Unified Omnichannel Experience category at the Pulse eCommerce Awards for their work with leading UK furniture retailer, OKA.
The Pulse eCommerce Awards, run by the team at Vervaunt, celebrate the brands, agencies and practitioners delivering meaningful work across the eCommerce industry. For Kubix, being recognised in this category is a proud moment, not just because of the award itself, but because of what it represents.
Omnichannel is not just a buzzword for us. It is the kind of work we help brands deliver every day: connecting systems, improving customer journeys and giving teams the tools they need to operate with more clarity and autonomy.
Recognised for unified omnichannel work
Our work with OKA was centred around creating a more connected retail and eCommerce experience.
As a premium interiors brand, OKA’s customer journey spans multiple touchpoints. Customers may browse online, visit a store for advice, interact with trade teams, place orders for later fulfilment, or rely on customer service for support after they’ve placed an order.
The goal was to support that journey with a more unified commerce setup, bringing online, in-store and operational systems closer together through Shopify, Shopify POS and NetSuite.
Rather than treating eCommerce and retail as separate channels, the project helped create a stronger foundation for joined-up customer experiences and clearer internal workflows.

Supporting modern retail through Shopify POS
A key part of the project focused on helping OKA’s retail teams work more confidently within a connected Shopify environment.
For store teams, that means better access to customer, product and order information. For customers, it means a smoother experience between online and in-store interactions.
To build the level of functionality OKA required to run Shopify POS across 15 retail locations, we completely mapped out their tech stack and store operations to establish what could be handled within Shopify.
This is where Shopify POS becomes much more than a point of sale tool. When implemented properly, it can help retail teams support more flexible purchasing journeys, improve visibility across channels and create a more consistent customer experience.
For OKA, the project was about making complex retail operations feel simpler, both for the teams using the systems and the customers interacting with the brand.
A proud moment for the Kubix team
Being awarded Highly Commended at the Pulse eCommerce Awards is a brilliant recognition of the work that happens behind the scenes on projects like this.
The strongest eCommerce projects are rarely built on one feature, one platform decision or one single moment. They rely on collaboration, technical understanding, operational detail and a shared commitment to building something that works in the real world.
That is exactly what this project represents.
A huge thank you to the judges for recognising the work, to OKA for trusting us with such an important project, and to the Kubix team for the care, craft and commitment they bring to every project.

Helping brands build more connected commerce experiences

Kubix helps eCommerce brands connect those experiences through Shopify, Shopify POS, integrations, data and operational strategy.
From retail rollouts and platform migrations to ERP integrations and long-term growth support, we help brands build commerce foundations that are clearer, stronger and easier to scale.
